About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Manager to lead and manage a small and passionate clinical team of Psychologists, Counsellors and Daybreak Community Moderators. In addition, the Clinical Manager will work as part of a supportive and collaborative wider team in the development of eHealth services and programs which include online health coaching and peer support for alcohol behaviour change. This is leadership role where you will report to the Head of Digital Therapeutics, and work closely with the Head of Governance and Research Manager to bring your sound clinical experience and background in alcohol behaviour change. Specific duties include:

  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical risk management processes to support the delivery of best practice care for our online community forum;
  • Review, develop and oversee the delivery of effective evidence-informed online coaching support within Daybreak;
  • Oversee and provide supervision for the Online Community Moderators and Health Coaching teams;
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop and maintain effective clinical risk guidelines and response processes;
  • Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of Daybreak and work with the Research Manager to support analysis for reporting purposes;
  • Support research activities including contribution to relevant scoping literature reviews to inform the conceptualisation and development of new clinical components of Daybreak;
  • Work with the research team and external collaborators to design and implement monitoring and evaluation strategies of new clinical programs;
  • Contribute to Research/M&E outputs including writing articles suitable for peer-reviewed journals.

About You

As a leader at Hello Sunday Morning, we have high expectations of what you’ll bring to the table if you’re successful in this role. The essential criteria for this role is:

  • Masters or Doctorate level qualification in Clinical or Health Psychology;
  • Full Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia;
  • Experience and expertise in screening, assessment and treatment of people with alcohol dependence;
  • Ability and experience to lead and manage a team, developing and maintaining motivated professionals while growing an inclusive team culture;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good digital literacy and knowledge of eHealth service delivery;
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment police check;
  • Clinical Supervision training (enabling supervision of students and provisional psychologists) - this criteria is highly advantageous but not essential.

In return for what you bring to the table, you will be offered flexible working hours with the opportunity to work from home on some days. An attractive salary of $90K-$100K + super is on offer, with additional benefits including not-for-profit salary sacrificing, laptop, regular external clinical supervision and an annual training budget of $1,600 for your professional development activities.
