Hepatitis Victoria is the peak not-for-profit community-based organisation working across the state for people affected by liver disease. It is governed by an independent Board of Directors with the Chief Executive Officer and staff performing the day to day duties. We are driven by and seek to represent the voice of people with lived experience of liver disease.
The role of the Community Participation Coordinator is integral to the advocacy and engagement work done by Hepatitis Victoria. This role will see you collaborate and engage with individuals with lived experience of hepatitis and liver disease, volunteers, advocates and the broader community on a daily basis. This is a terrific opportunity to combine your confident and articulate manner with a passion for improving outcomes for individuals living with a chronic health condition.
If you have qualifications and experience in community development, engagement or health promotion and enjoy the challenge of working with a diverse range of people to address a key health issue facing our community, then this is the role for you.
Hepatitis Victoria offers a great working environment, ongoing professional development and above award conditions, including salary packaging options.
Hepatitis Victoria is committed to cultural diversity in the workplace, and is an equal opportunity employer. People affected by viral hepatitis, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background are encouraged to apply.
