RAGCP Queensland is the main point of contact for College members and stakeholders in the state. The core work of RACGP Queensland includes but not limited to delivering member services and responding to local needs, coordinating examinations and developing and delivering member events. 

The position

Reporting to the Queensland State Manager, the Examination Coordinator will oversee the implementation and delivery of all RACGP exam activities across Queensland. The role will coordinate the faculty’s examiner recruitment utilising national resources and preparing examination activities such as exam programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project planning skills, and have experience in the delivering simultaneous multi events.

The candidate

To be successful in this role, the suitable candidate will bring the following knowledge and skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of education and or professional examination activities
  • Ability to plan, organise and establish own work priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to plan and organise work to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrate experience with event budget management
  • Excellent written communication skills, high level written and oral communication capacity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite and a capacity to work with databases
  • Proven ability to plan and manage multiple project timeframes to ensure all deadlines are met on time and in budget.
  • Effective contract management skills to manage contracts with suppliers and troubleshoot when required.
  • Excellent ability to solve problems and take initiative with complex and confidential issue

In order to accommodate meetings and exam events, the successful candidate will be required to work up to 12 weekend days per year (generally either a Saturday or Sunday depending on the event). Time Off In Lieu will apply.
