RAGCP Queensland is the main point of contact for College members and stakeholders in the state. The core work of RACGP Queensland includes but not limited to delivering member services and responding to local needs, coordinating examinations and developing and delivering member events. 

The position

Reporting to the State Manager RACGP Queensland, the main focus of this position is to assist the Queensland Faculty Examinations team by providing administration and organisational support.

You will be responsible for administering the faculty's fellowship, completion of training and recognition of prior learning applications. In addition, you will coordinate exam feedback sessions with the faculty censor, coupled with the ability to provide administration support to the Faculty Regional Committee. This role will require a willingness to work on some evenings and weekends.

The candidate

To be successful in this role, the suitable candidate will bring the following knowledge and skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administration support role
  • The ability to plan and organise work to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, committee members and other RACGP members
  • Commitment to working constructively in a small team, supporting team members whilst taking responsibility for your own work
  • A very high regard for confidentiality, security and ethical conduct
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
