You’re an executive support guru who is passionate about ensuring your executive operates efficiently. From wrangling conflicting diaries to controlling email traffic, from anticipating changing needs to interacting with key stakeholders, you will display unflappable professionalism and outstanding attention to detail in everything you do.

With strong experience providing high level executive support ideally in a small organisation, you go about your work with integrity, maturity and discretion. A multi-tasker by nature, you will operate independently yet collaboratively to support the Federation’s social justice priorities.

The Federation is the peak body for Victoria’s Community Legal Centres (CLCs). Our members are at the forefront of helping those facing economic, cultural or social disadvantage and whose life circumstances are severely affected by their legal problem.

For over 40 years CLCs have been the heart of a powerful movement for social change, reshaping how people access justice, creating stronger more equitable laws, and more accountable government and democracy.

As their peak body, we work with and support CLCs to fight for a fairer, more just community.


As our organisation goes through a period of positive growth, it is critical to ensure the foundations of the Federation enable us to continue the important work in driving change for a fairer community.

The newly created role of Executive Assistant will focus on high level executive support for the CEO and the senior leadership team, enabling them to ensure the Federation is recognised as a strong collective voice for justice and equality on behalf of our members.

About the role

You will deliver superior and confidential executive level support to the CEO through efficient diary and email management and preparation of high quality reports, presentations and documents.

You will deliver exceptional executive level support to the senior leadership team.

You will coordinate Board meetings and provide outstanding governance support through timely agendas, concise minutes and quality Board papers.

You will be a valued team member in effectively supporting the administrative priorities and delivery of best practice approaches.

You will liaise professionally and collaboratively with all key internal and external stakeholders, including significant engagement with senior stakeholders on behalf of the CEO.

Rewards and Benefits

The base salary offered is between $72,000 - $75,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), plus superannuation. The Federation offers FBT salary packaging, therefore depending upon personal financial circumstances, the value of the salary may be equivalent to up to approximately $5,000 - $7,000 higher.
