The Role

The rapid growth of Dog and Bone’s strategic IT partnerships, combined with our successful CIOaaS offering, has led to our Consulting Project Delivery Team to seek additional support. We are looking for an experienced ICT leader with drive and commitment, who shares a similar philosophy and who wants a rewarding role with the potential to contribute to the growth and development of our business.

The right applicant will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to deliver complicated messages in non-technical way, bridging the gap between business and technology. You have strong strategic and business acumen and the ability to mentor and lead teams. You are well organised, with the ability to see the big picture. The position will also see you assist in the management of the current client portfolio and ensuring we are looking for future opportunities to expand our partnerships. You will regularly visit potential and existing clients to build and maintain relationships and be seen as a trusted independent advisor who understands their requirements and offers solutions. This is a role you are empowered to own and drive forward.

We are seeking people who share a similar philosophy to our own and have experiences in the following areas:

ICT Leadership

  1. Has at least ten years’ experience working in the Australian corporate or not-for-profit SME environment, including at least three years’ substantial team leadership
  2. Experience providing governance oversight of ICT reporting to the exec, CIO, Boards
  3. Experience setting objectives and strategies for IT departments, and ensuring systems necessary to support IT strategies operations and objectives are in place
  4. Experience overseeing the use of Information technology (IT) in a SME’s
  5. Experience supporting the delivery of business IT innovation through close collaboration with senior stakeholders and leaders
  6. Experience in managing vendor relationships and performance
  7. Understand the importance of aligning organisational and IT strategic directions and have a demonstrated strength in communicating with executive stakeholders, boards and senior management teams in their language.
  8. Understands the range of technologies and IT services that support an organisation’s strategies and workforce, and how they work together to deliver value to an organisation eg business applications, BI/analytics, end user computing, mobility, collaboration and communication services, identity and access management, infrastructure and network services, IT support and management services, project and technology governance.
  9. Broader organisational experience and commercial focus

Project Delivery

  1. Demonstrated capability delivering multi-disciplinary programs or projects across the range of technology verticals.
  2. Demonstrated capability with any of the following: project management, technology service tendering (RFP processes), contract and service delivery evaluation.

A more mature leader looking to utilise your skills and experience and to give back to the community, a mid career professional looking to move from a technical to a more executive management role, or an individual looking to gain that often hard to attain experience, through a deeper engagement with our highly regarded and credentialled consulting team.
