Community Shapers is a progressive call centre based in Canberra helping to shape a fairer, more sustainable world. We believe in the power of values-led, well-informed, and inspired over-the-phone conversation to effect social change. It is through this service that we support the progressive movement in Australia by strengthening and growing their membership bases as well as increasing awareness of and support for their campaigns through a combination of advocacy and fundraising over-the-phone outreach.
Community Shapers leads by example, and we are committed to upholding the utmost ethical and professional standards of fundraising, both in terms of how we treat and remunerate our staff and in how we engage our clients' supporters.
Every day we prioritise building a respectful, inclusive, and supportive work environment with the feeling of an activist hub. We work together to solve problems, communicate with empathy, and encourage our employees to join the relevant union.
We only partner with progressive clients working towards a fairer, kinder, more sustainable world, and we only hire Change Agents who share similar values.

Interviews for the first round will start in the week of the 7th of October and successful applicants will have their first shift in the week of the 14th.
Our office will be shut down for the summer from December 16 until late January; there will be no shifts offered in this period.
When applying for this position please indicate which round you would like to be considered for, or if you would like to be considered for both.
