The Role

This is your chance to use to make an impact contributing to climate change action. This role provides an incredible opportunity to develop and execute innovative fundraising campaigns, whilst helping to nurture and grow the Climate Council’s supporter base. You will be working in the Community & Fundraising team, reporting to the Head of Community. The role will provide plenty of opportunities to be creative and test new approaches fundraising.

This role based will preferably be based in Sydney, however we will consider applications in Melbourne also.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Climate Council’s online fundraising program including one-off and regular giving. This includes running major planned and reactive fundraising campaigns, retention strategy development, program and budget management.
  • Oversight of regular giving growth and retention activities, including donor engagement, recovering at risk recurring revenue, phone campaigns for conversions and upgrades and receipting processes.
  • Manage donor experience and develop a communications strategy to keep high value donors engaged.
  • Develop and utilise supporter insights and data to provide strategic input into our online fundraising strategy.
  • Take a leading role in managing fundraising systems and technology, including data management
  • Fundraising campaign analysis and reporting
  • Contributing to acquisition activities including onboarding journeys, communications and segmentation
  • Develop a strategic understanding of the Climate Council’s income streams and contribute to a broad range of online and offline fundraising activities.
