The Role

Barnardos are looking for a full time permanent Carer Compliance Specialist to oversee the compliance and quality assurance of carer authorisation for Barnardos across NSW and ACT. This includes reviewing and updating policies and procedures as they relate to carer and adult household members (AHM) authorisation and collecting and recording of information during the application and registration stages.

The Carer Compliance Specialist is also responsible for ensuring the currency of information relating to NSW carers and AHM in the NSW Carer’s register.

This role will be based at Barnardos Head Office, Ultimo, Sydney.

The Candidate

The successful Carer Compliance Specialist will ideally have:

  • Qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or knowledge gained through relevant experience (such as social work, compliance and/or quality assurance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a complex administration or project management role
  • Demonstrated experience in compliance and quality assurance, including the ability to apply relevant legislation.
  • Familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance, and human resource procedures and regulations
  • Demonstrated experience using electronic data base systems
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $67, 985 - $71 964 base (including FBT packaging) + benefits + Super.
