We are one of the largest not-for-profit providers of services for young people in Australia with sites across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania. The community with yourtown’s Art Unions funds most of what we do. At yourtown you will be part of the solution.
Our Strategy & Research team of thirteen professionals has gained a reputation for excellence in conducting insightful research on contemporary issues faced by youth, and providing influential evaluations on programs aimed at assisting young people and their families. Team members can get involved in Australian Research Centre funded projects and other research partnerships, responses to government inquiries and submissions, and representing yourtown in the media and community.
We currently have two exciting opportunities for Senior Researchers available. These positions will provide the successful applicants with a challenge and variety and the opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment.
As a senior member of our Research and Strategy team, you will be required to provide information and recommendations relating to our organisational strategy and development, client services, and government and corporate relationships to both internal and external stakeholders.
This role (Position Reference 4396) will focus on designing, developing and continuously improving information and data collection systems related to Kids Helpline and our other virtual services. Ideally, you have worked in a fast-paced environment; have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and stakeholder engagement while maintaining a sound quality of work. You will be motivated, decisive, focussed and flexible, with the ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality when required.
Above all, a passion for working with young people to help them positively change their lives is essential!
