We work in the areas of children’s services, community development, housing, youth services, personal and professional training, women’s leadership, and advocacy.

As Director of Communication, Advocacy and Fundraising you will responsible for developing and implementing YWCA Canberra’s strategic communications, fundraising, and advocacy strategies and relationship management with corporate partners, government, community sector stakeholders and YWCA Canberra members.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this hands-on role sits within YWCA Canberra’s executive team and manages a team of staff who are responsible for delivering internal and external communication, policy & advocacy initiatives, events, fundraising campaigns and corporate partnerships and stakeholder engagement.

This role is a parental leave contract position, commencing the week of Monday 11 March 2019 and is expected to conclude on Friday 6 March 2020.
