WestCASA is a community based not-for-profit sexual assault, family violence and trauma counselling service operating in the western metropolitan region of Melbourne for over 30 years. WestCASA provides counselling, a crisis response, advocacy, education and training and is located in Werribee, with outreach to Footscray, Melton and the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC, a women’s prison) at Deer Park.

WestCASA is a not-for-profit organisation with a community-based Board of Governance and a member of the state-wide peak organisation of sexual assault services CASA Forum. Services are funded by the Victorian Government.

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Causal Receptionist to join our team. The successful applicant will provide reception support at our Multi-Disciplinary Centre based in Werribee with the possibility of some time at our Footscray office if required. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work independently and contribute to a resilient team.

This position is a very casual reception position covering when the receptionist is on various leave, team days and planning days that we run throughout the year and any ad hoc days as required.

Salary is paid in accordance with the Western Region Centre Against Sexual Assault and the Health Services Union Agreement 2006-2007 and then the Western Region Centre Against Sexual Assault Inc (WestCASA) Employees Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020, once this has been approved by Fair work Australia. The conditions of employment will be in accordance with the agreements as above.
