About you

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including:

  1. Experience working with people with disability
  2. Positive and client focused approach
  3. Experience working in residential care, personal care or nursing (highly desirable)
  4. A qualification in a field related to Disability.
    • A completed Certificate IV level qualification is desired, or current community service or disability studies close to completion
  5. A current Australian Driver’s Licence
  6. Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain these before starting)
  7. Current WWCC (or willingness to obtain this before starting)

  • Summarise your experiences of working with people with disability
  • Provide an example of working with a client to support them to reach their goals
  • Describe your reasons for wanting to work as a Disability Support Worker, in Residential services, with Uniting, now?
