About the opportunity

Uniting have a workforce of nearly 7,000 individuals providing significant service to the community and, as the Coordinator - Workforce Administration, this role will support HR, Volunteer Services and Organisational Development teams to provide excellent customer service.

This role will work in conjunction with People and Culture teams to deliver and implement effective human resources, volunteer management and organisational development functions by providing administration and engagement support.

A key focus of this role is providing high level of support to people leaders and teams across volunteer recruitment, appointment process (including compliance checks), events and an exciting range of projects.

About you

The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders and have strong organisational and time management skills with a solution-focused approach.

You will have an understanding of current and emerging issues and trends in volunteering, organisational development and a whole of workforce approaches. Being an effective communicator with strong attention to detail will see you excel in this role.

Previous experience using learning and development, volunteer management or HR systems and knowledge of the community services sector would be advantageous.
