About the position

The Women's Legal Centre is looking for an energetic, flexible and positive person to take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the Centre.

The Office Manager will:

  • Support the leadership staff of the Centre to develop and maintain an efficient, accountable and supportive organisation focussed on delivering services to our clients.
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the Centre, in collaboration with the small corporate and admin support team.
  • Provide high-level, responsive and positive support to the Executive Director.
  • Manage the Centre’s relationship with external bookkeeping and ICT services to ensure services run smoothly and responsively.

About the Centre

The Women's Legal Centre is an innovative community legal centre providing specialist legal services to vulnerable women in Canberra and the surrounding region. Our main areas of practice are family law, domestic violence, victims of crime, employment and discrimination. We also provide case management support, and run specialist programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.
