WIRE Women’s Information provides Victorian women with free and confidential support, information and referrals on any issue based on a feminist framework.
There is an exciting opportunity to join the team of one of Victoria’s best known women’s organisation. This contract provides you with the opportunity to further build WIRE’s capacity in improving economic outcomes for women who have experienced financial abuse.
The Project Manager will be responsible for development and delivery of workshops for women affected by family violence, train the trainer workshops, program evaluation and reporting.
The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering workshops to women that have experienced family violence throughout Victoria that encourage and fosters increased financial capability. Post workshops the Project Manager will provide up to three supports to workshop participants to reinforce financial behavioural change. The second Stage of the project includes developing and delivering workshops to the community services sector on how they can engage with service users that have experienced family violence in order to foster increase financial capability. The third stage of the project involves evaluation and reporting on the success of the workshops.
The project aims to inform and support women who have experienced family violence including financial abuse so that they can harness and strengthen their financial capability. With information and support, women participating in the project will be encouraged and supported to make positive and lasting financial changes that will improve their short, medium and long term financial security.
