Wildlife Health Australia (WHA) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Systems Analyst to join our small committed team. This contract is available from August 2019, for a fixed period of 12 months.

This part-time role will find a develop solutions to technical difficulties impacting the organisation and provide expert support to current and new technical processes.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Analysing current processes and developing solutions that could be implemented by WHA
  • Documenting all operational and cost requirements of solutions; including the best approach for implementation
  • Act as the intermediary between the WHA team and the IT team on projects and define a common understanding of requirements
  • Assist the Administration Manager to ensure technical milestones are met
  • Lead and conduct testing of current, upgraded and new technical solutions

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience with websites and databases
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office, Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Knowledge and/or background in wildlife health will be highly regarded
  • Have the ability to work part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
