About the position

As a Direct Marketing Manager, you will support the fundraising objectives of the Institute by managing the direct marketing program. This includes donor acquisition, retention, engagement and upgrading. It is also responsible for managing the Institute’s portfolio of community fundraisers.

This role also takes the lead in identifying and testing other fundraising opportunities, including digital and direct strategies. The role requires high-levels of fundraising expertise, strategic thinking, collaboration and communication with a wide-range of internal and external stakeholders. It also requires the ability to manage and motivate staff effectively to develop and implement the range of DM initiatives.

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will have an ability to deliver high quality DM programs, shaping and driving donor acquisition and retention strategies. Experience working with external fundraising agencies and across integrated programs is a key requirement.

Candidates with knowledge of Raisers Edge will be highly regarded and candidates who have a membership with of Fundraising Institute of Australia will be an advantage.

Terms of appointment

This position is available for 3 years in a full time capacity, part time considered (0.8 FTE). Salary is HEW 8 ($102,193 - $110,611). Up to 17% superannuation and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
