Due to increased funding and some major service developments we are looking for a part-time (0.6) Financial Capability Officer to join our team in Wodonga.

This role, which forms part of the Financial Counselling program assists eligible clients to build long-term capability to budget, manage their money better and make informed financial decisions.

This program which sits within the UMFC Family Relationship Services delivers a range of financial counselling programs funded by the Commonwealth Department of Social (DSS) Services and by Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV).

If you are successful you will need to go through the following:

  • Undergo and pass a National Police Check prior to commencement (completed and paid for by UMFC)
  • Provide evidence of a Victorian & NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Provide consent to be checked against the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Register (DWES) (as UMFC is a registered disability service provider)
