About the opportunity

Uniting is seeking Part Time Disability Support Workers to work across Western & Northern Sydney, as well as Nepean Blue Mountains. Working with participants on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you will make a real difference by building the participants’ capacity with daily living and confidence in accessing the community. 

About You

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability, or equivalent accreditation in social science/community services
  • An understanding of the complex needs of a person with a disability, their families and carers; and how to implement person-centred plans in line with identified goals of the individual
  • Demonstrated experience using a Customer Relationship Management system to maintain accurate and up to date records
  • Experience supporting participants from Aboriginal and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds would be advantageous
