Thrive365 is a disability support service with a difference. We offer a range of support services to individuals who are part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and their families. These services include:

  • Supported Independent Living (Greater Western Sydney Area)
  • Daily assisted living (such as cleaning, gardening and personal care)
  • Community participation
  • Eligibility and planning support and
  • Support coordination (helping people to get the most out of their NDIS funds)

We currently have roster lines available at our SIL services in Werrington and Kellyville. We will be expanding to other areas soon.

Work with us to create a new approach to SIL services with two new purpose designed properties that contain 6 self contained apartments, no more squeezing everyone into small living areas!

The positions would be ideal for people with an interest to work with individuals who range from having:

  • High physical needs such as tracheotomy support, peg feed and / or require catheter care and support
  • Mild intellectual disability
  • Psychosocial Disability
  • Cognitive and behaviour support needs including ABI.

Duties may include all aspects of personal care including:

  • Showering assistance
  • Manual handling including hoist transfers – manual, electric / assisted standing
  • Dressing assistance and hygiene needs
  • Bowel and continence support

Other duties may include:

  • Light domestic support and household tasks
  • Assistance or preparation of meals
  • Support with assistive technology

The successful candidate will have:

  • Maximum availability and willingness to do sleep overs / active nights
  • Demonstrated manual handling experience
  • Demonstrated experience with personal care
  • Experience in working with people with high medical needs and intellectual disabilities
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders

Mandatory Requirements include:

  • Current First Aid level 2 Certificate
  • Current CPR (annual)
  • National Police Children Check (less than 6 months old or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
  • Current Drivers License
  • Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance

Preferred but not essential;

  • Manual handling training
  • Administration of medication training
  • Certificate IV in Disability or relevant experience
  • Industry experience will be highly regarded
