Thorne Harbour Health, Victoria’s largest provider of LGBTI health services is now recruiting for an appropriately qualified senior practitioner. This position, working with a small team, will assist in establishing a new centralised intake and assessment service for our family violence, AOD and general counselling teams. The role requires transferrable, trauma-informed intake, assessment and brief intervention skills and experience. Ideally, applicants will have a background in general counselling, AOD and/or family violence. Knowledge of HIV and hepatitis C is also desirable.
The successful applicant will supervise and contribute to a small team of intake and assessment clinicians providing evidence-based, responsive and client centred intake, assessment and care planning, as well as ensuring service accessibility through maintaining strong working relationships with referring organisations.
