Join our team! An exciting opportunity exists to work with the Telethon Kids Institute in Broome with Professor Juli Coffin to manage a program of research that includes the Yawardani Jan-ga Equine-Assisted Learning Research Program.
A key focus of this role will be on managing the implementation and day to day running of the program.
This position will work with Professor Coffin and play a crucial role in her Aboriginal Youth Social & Emotional Wellbeing team. Part of your role will include:
This is a full time position, for 2 years with the possibility of extension.
To be eligible for this role, applicants should also have a Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander primary health care, health promotion, public health, community development, research, social work or other relevant work.
Individuals must demonstrate:
Experience working in research and youth social and emotional wellbeing highly desirable.
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a satisfactory National Police Check, a Working with Children Check and Proof of working rights in Australia prior to commencement.
