This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Administrator to contribute to a values based organisation within a diverse hands on customer service role. As an Administration Assistant you will be responsible for the provision of high quality administration support to ensure the smooth functioning of the membership and Council activities. Reporting to NWCC Development Officer, you will support the Society’s North West Central Council to provide effective responses to disadvantage within local communities.

You will bring a 'hands on' approach and be a proactive self-starter who thrives on delivering outstanding work.

More specifically you will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner
  • A demonstrated ability to build a good rapport with a diverse range of people
  • Strong organisational and administration skills including solid experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Confidence working independently and within timeframes and deadlines
  • High level of judgement and problem solving skills

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Efficient support of the North West Central Council including timely responses to queries from stakeholders
  • Prepare documents that may include letters, newsletters, reports and minutes
  • Provide support at meetings including, organising and scheduling, agenda preparation, venue and catering requirements, minute taking and any follow up required.
  • Supporting the North West Central Council in any reports to central office.
