We have an exciting opening for a Content Producer at St James Ethics Centre. This is not your average job and the person we are searching for is quite special.
What we need is a dynamic, creative writer with a solid understanding of philosophy and ethics. You’ll produce ethics related content across a wide variety of mediums including longer-form articles for our quarterly magazine, Ethics Quarterly, daily pieces for our blog based on current issues and a steady stream of content for our social channels. Writing and philosophy is your passion and you have a flair for turning the most complex of issues into something engaging, relatable and sharable.
It’s not essential, but it would be a bonus if you’re handy with video as well because we’d like to explore new ways of taking ethics to the masses.
Working closely with the Marketing team, this new full time position will offer lots of variety and opportunities for the right candidate.
The Ethics Centre has been around for 25 years and our purpose is to encourage public debate and reflection on the ethical issues of our time. The Centre's activities span live events (including the Festival of Dangerous Ideas and IQ2 debate series), a free ethics helpline and a thriving consulting practice. We’re a not-for-profit organisation based in Sydney’s CBD.
