Sonder is recruiting a Peer Support Worker to work in Sonder’s Walk-In After hours Mental Health Service, in our Head Office at Edinburgh North.
This is a Casual Contract (up to 20 hrs per week) Fixed term until 30 June 2020 with the likelihood of extension.
We are seeking motivated and passionate staff with a lived experience in Mental Health to engage with the clients of the Walk-In After Hours Mental Health Services and their families within an administrative role.
This service provides mental health support to adults in the in the Outer Northern region of Adelaide on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays between the hours of 5 to 10 pm including public holidays.
The Peer Support Worker will draw from a strengths based recovery orientated service of care and act as a role model towards recovery for people experiencing mental illness. In addition, the Peer Support Worker will work collaboratively with the Mental Health Clinicians and support the Mental Health Clinicians by performing vital administrative roles.
A Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work is required for this role.
