Every day of the year, Sacred Heart Mission assist hundreds of people who are experiencing homelessness or living in poverty to find shelter, food, care and support. We are in this for the long haul - we are committed to making a sustainable difference in people’s lives. Everyone is welcome at our table.

We are launching a brand new GreenLight Supportive Housing Program in partnership with VincentCare Victoria, and Salvation Army Adult Services. We will support people who have experienced chronic homelessness including rough sleeping to establish a home and community connection, provide specific interventions to sustain tenancies, and will support underlying health and other issues that may impact on people staying housed.

Your new role

As one of our new full-time Supportive Housing Workers, you will spend your days working with a multi-disciplinary team that assists people to settle into housing, stay housed, and improve their quality of life. The role will see you working in the community and in people’s homes as you assist them to develop goals and navigate services that meet their needs to stay housed.

  • Experience working with people with complex needs and/or homelessness and housing
