Every day of the year, Sacred Heart Mission assist hundreds of people who are experiencing homelessness or living in poverty to find shelter, food, care and support. We are launching a brand new GreenLight Supportive Housing Program in partnership with VincentCare Victoria, and Salvation Army Adult Services. We will support people who have experienced chronic homelessness including rough sleeping to establish a home and community connection, provide specific interventions to sustain tenancies, and will support underlying health and other issues that may impact on people staying housed.

Your new role

We are seeking a clinician to join our team in either 0.8 EFT or 0.9 EFT role. You will spend your days working across sites with a multi-disciplinary team that assists people to settle into housing, stay housed, and improve their quality of life. The role will see you provide mental health care coordination, staff consultation & training, and create links with mental health services across inner Melbourne to promote client mental health outcomes.

We're looking for

  • Practiced and skilled mental health clinicians
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and inter-agency partnerships.
  • Commitment to recovery and person-centred principles.
  • Experience working with people with complex needs and/ or homelessness and housing.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and working within the mental health service system.
  • Resilience, flexibility and adaptability.
