The Community Capacity Building Worker plays an integral role within a multidisciplinary team of professionals in supporting and working with clients who are at risk of, or currently experiencing housing stress.
The Community Capacity Building Worker seeks to build capacity of staff, clients, and the larger community in order to address the structural inequalities that create disadvantage. The role is responsible for contributing to the achievement of organisational outcomes that have been identified in VincentCare’s Client Engagement and Client Participation Frameworks, and works closely with the Client Participation and Engagement Support Worker to develop opportunities for client engagement, participation, and to provide capacity building activities necessary for full and effective client participation.
