Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA) is a member-based national for purpose organisation that promotes independence and provides services to people with a spinal cord injury and other physical disabilities to assist them to achieve their goals. SCIA is a registered NDIS service provider and working together with our customers, we assist in the elimination of barriers that prevent social inclusion for people with a spinal cord injury and other physical and neurological disabilities, ensuring that the society in which we live is accessible in every way.

SCIA is looking for someone with instincts to follow a lead and can close a sale. If you have a demonstrable track record of business development and sales account management of more than five years, and you’re motivated to make an impact for people living with a disability, this could be the role for you.

You will:

  • Develop and manage contracts for SCIA’s employment Social Enterprise
  • Create mutually beneficial relationships with commercial partners
  • Create paid messaging proposals and opportunities with existing and new advertisers
  • Ensure contact activity integration with Salesforce
  • Seamlessly liaise with SCIA’s fundraising, marketing, operational and admin teams

You can demonstrate the following experience and capabilities:

  • Proven experience managing and developing accounts in a sales function
  • Understanding of commercial and government sales requirements
  • Sound documentation skills working within a CRM system – preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to work in partnership with other operational functions
  • Able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Unrestricted NSW driver's licence.

The position is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) and will be based in our Sydney office.
