At Royal Far West, we believe that every child has the right to access the services they need to thrive and grow, no matter where they live. From our base opposite Manly beach in Sydney, we provide multidisciplinary health and wellbeing services for children from rural and remote Australia with developmental, behavioural, learning and mental health difficulties. Through our range of programs and innovative service delivery models we are changing the landscape for health services in Australia.
We are passionate about working with our rural and remote children, their families and local service providers to provide high quality services and support that changes trajectories. In joining our dynamic and growing team, you will help us expand and innovate to support over 100,000 country kids to access the care they need and realise their potential.
Royal Far West is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
Royal Far West’s Paediatric Developmental Program (PDP) provides specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children from country NSW with complex developmental needs. The PDP program runs from our on-site Centre for Country Kids in Manly, supported by telehealth where appropriate. A large multi-disciplinary clinical team works alongside the Royal Far West School, recreation program and guest house to provide an integrated, wholistic service model for families who require specialist support that they cannot otherwise access locally. Families stay for a week and access a range of health services, education, parenting support and respite. It is a unique and valued program that provides life changing support for hundreds of families each year.
Reporting to the Head of Programs, the Program Manager - PDP is responsible for the planning and delivery of the PDP, in line with RFW’s strategic direction, ensuring the program is tracking in line with budget, is well resourced and delivering an evidence based, clinically effective service. RFW is currently undertaking a widescale review of this program and the Program Manager - PDP will have the unique opportunity to work with the clinical redesign team to influence and shape the program and optimise its impact.
