The Solicitor/ Casework is primarily focused on providing services to clients in immigration detention and in the community who are seeking asylum or have refugee status. The position is permanent full- time (35 hours per week). We are currently seeking two candidates with varying skill level. Flexible working arrangements can also be considered. Remuneration for the position is $66,000 – $76,000 pa, (commensurate with qualifications and experience), plus superannuation contribution and salary packaging
The position reports to a RACS Supervising Senior Solicitor. The Solicitor will carry out their duties in accordance with RACS policy and funding guidelines. The successful applicant will be working at RACS’ main Randwick office, but will be expected to travel to our outreach locations, to external meetings, detention centres and other locations as reasonably required.
