Senator Sarah Hanson-Young is looking for a new team member.
This exciting position is for Senator Hanson-Young’s senior adviser. The successful applicant will be based in Parliament House, Canberra.
As the Greens spokesperson for Environment, Communications & Arts policy, Senator Hanson-Young is looking for someone with the experience and interest to help maximise her work in these areas.
The role requires a broad range of skills including communications, research and public relations. Applicants should have an appetite for shaping political and public debate, with a focus on achieving outcomes.
Knowledge and experience in the communications, media and arts sphere and/or an interest in environmental policy is a bonus.
Working in a fast-paced environment, applicants must be able to learn quickly, think on their feet and keep their cool under pressure. This position will require frequent travel between Canberra and other Australian cities.
We are looking for someone with a thirst for news, politics and getting things done.
Salary package ranges between $102k - $114k [+ Super] depending on experience.
