The People and Workplace Services team are responsible for delivering a professional and best practice HR service to the employees and clients of NPY Women’s Council. We work together with other programs to employ a diverse mix of talent and to create a high performing culture that is innovative, inclusive and safe to work in.

We’re a small team with big ideas and due to an internal promotion we’re now recruiting a HR Assistant to join us on our journey. This role provides a mixture of administrative, project and advisory support in a variety of HR areas.

With a new five-year strategic plan that puts operational excellence as a priority, this role will be a critical part of the team moving forward due to a number of exciting projects and organisation improvement.

We’re looking for someone who has experience in Human Resources and has an interest or has worked in community services. This role has the potential for growth and career development and the successful person will have the opportunity to make the role their own.

The ideal person will have a balance of skills that focuses on the detail but also the big picture. We need someone who enjoys managing systems and administration processes whilst working with a diverse range of people needs. In addition, we’re looking for someone who is flexible, personable and can provide an excellent HR service to the business.
