Molonglo Support Services is a not-for-profit community based organisation providing holistic domestic violence and homelessness support services, which has operated in Queanbeyan/Palerang and the region for over 40 years.
Our mission is to ensure safety and stability for people experiencing difficulties due to homelessness, domestic violence, poverty and discrimination; providing accommodation, early intervention, outreach, crisis support and court advocacy.
We are currently seeking applications from experienced, compassionate and motivated candidates to join a small supportive team working 35 hours per week as an Intake, Referral and Court Advocacy Officer for the South Eastern Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (SEWDVCAS). You will report directly to the SEWDVCAS Coordinator and assist with the overall administration and coordination of the Local Coordination Point responsibilities; at court provide information, assistance, referrals and court advocacy to SEWDVCAS clients and; in partnership with other team members, an effective, streamlined service based on human rights principles.
Current driver's licence, NSW Working with Children Check and current police check are essential.
SCHCADS Level 4 - 5 depending on experience, paid lunch breaks + PBI Salary Packaging available
