  • Grade 2 Hand Therapist - 0.4 EFT/15.2 hours per week. Additional hours will be available during periods of staff leave
  • Part-time fixed term
  • Provides best practice hand therapy assessment and intervention as part of the supportive hand therapy team within an outpatient service, including fracture and ortho clinics and also to the emergency department
  • Variety of diagnoses, including closed trauma, chronic conditions and post-operative care
  • Supervision opportunity with grade 1 hand therapist; supervision and support provided to your role by grade 3 hand therapist

This is a great opportunity to join the friendly, dynamic hand therapy team at Werribee Mercy Hospital. We are seeking a grade 2 hand therapist for a 12 month maternity leave position from October 2019. Our supportive hand therapy team comprises grade 3, grade 2 and grade 1 staff.

About you:

  • Relevant qualification in Occupational therapy or Physiotherapy, with full current AHPRA registration
  • A minimum of 2 years hand therapy experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a variety of hand injuries and conditions
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adopt a holistic approach to patient care
