MacDonnell Regional Council (MRC) is seeking a dynamic Manager to oversee the delivery of our Youth Service across twelve remote communities.

MacDonnell Regional Council's Youth Service (MacYouth) provides engaging and innovative youth development opportunities for young people in remote communities, which contribute to positive life outcomes.

The Manager Youth Services provides supervision, mentoring and coaching to the senior staff within the MacYouth team and leads the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of youth programs.

Our community based, MacYouth teams are predominantly local Indigenous staff members who work collaboratively with the community and other stakeholders to meet community needs and build positive relationships.

This position is offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis through to 31 December 2020.

Some travel to remote communities including overnight stays will be required.
