MND Victoria was formed in 1981 by a group of volunteers with the strong involvement of people with MND their families, health professionals and other concerned people to address the absence of a coordinated response to MND. It is a state-wide not-for-profit organisation, located in Canterbury in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. MND Victoria is dedicated to providing the best possible care and support for people living with motor neurone disease (MND). ‘People living with MND’ includes people who have been diagnosed, families, carers, former carers, friends, workmates, service providers and any other person whose life is, or has been, affected by MND.
The Supporter Development Officer’s overall responsibility is to work with the Manager Supporter Development to develop, refine and deliver fundraising which is a significant source of Association funds and enables the Association to deliver services to people living with MND. The position will cover all areas of fundraising support but with a focus on digital fundraising opportunities.
Specifically the Supporter Development Officer will provide support to the Supporter Development Coordinator to increase digital fundraising across the Peer-to Peer | Challenge | Adventure sector. In addition, the Supporter Development Officer works closely with the Administration/Data Entry Co-ordinator, Communications Officer, Coordinator of Volunteers and volunteers undertaking merchandising fulfilment.
