MND NSW is an NDIS service provider and looking to grow our Coordination of Support service. We are seeking a new Coordinator of Support who will provide quality support to people with MND, their families and carers and assist them to activate, use and manage their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan funding and engage with the NDIS. The coordinator can offer face-to-face support and will liaise with allied health, mainstream, disability and care providers to optimise outcomes for people with MND.

This position offers variety, excellent working conditions, flexibility and some travel. The successful applicant will be based at our Gladesville office. 

Do you have:

  • Tertiary health, disability or community care related qualifications and/or relevant work experience?
  • A sound understanding of person partnered approaches and planning?
  • High level problems solving skills, the ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision?
  • Excellent database entry skills?
  • Strong interpersonal and clear communication skills?
  • A current NSW driver’s licence and car? 

Knowledge of MND, while an advantage is not a prerequisite as training and a comprehensive orientation program will be provided.
