We are seeking a Client Advocacy Representative to provide feedback, advice and input in the development of LLW services.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Client Advocacy Representative, on a casual basis, that will from part of the Client Advocacy Panel that will include the Group Clinical Services Manager for Queensland. This panel provide real time feedback to inform and improve LLW services.

The successful person will provide feedback, advice and input in the development of LLW service policy, planning, design and strategy, drawing from previous client or carer experience.

  • Assist in the development of organisational strategies that ensure client needs are well considered in the ongoing design and development of LLW services for people with alcohol and drug and mental health concerns
  • Review, provide feedback and recommendations on draft service policy Form and develop partnerships with key stakeholders and facilitate the intake and assessment process
  • Provide advice and recommendations on the design of new program, services, publications and buildings to best meet client needs

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience, either professionally or personally, with alcohol and other drugs and mental health issues (preferably through an LLW service)
  • Able to provide personal experiences when representing LLW-interests at both internal and external events.
  • Able to consider, understand and advocate on behalf of client's needs.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, engagement, analysis and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently, and collaboratively with staff from a diverse range of disciplines.
