About the Role

Lifestart has an exciting new opportunity for an Executive Officer to join our Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) team. In this pivotal role you will provide high-level executive support to the General Manager and Leadership team including, but not limited to, coordinating projects, managing communications and overseeing various deadlines to support the strategic and operational objectives of the ECEI program.

You will be an agile and flexible person capable of prioritising projects and able to adapt to an evolving fast-paced work environment. Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders will be essential. To succeed in this role, you will have a high level of energy, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to achieving positive results.

Key elements of this role include supporting the day-to-day functions of ECEI activities and projects, managing logistics of various meetings and events and continual monitoring of the General Managers schedule as required. This is a contracted position based at Sydney Olympic Park on a full-time basis to June 2021. Travel will be an essential component of this role.

Skills and Experience

  • A recognised qualification or experience in business or project management
  • Demonstrated experience in executive support of senior management, preferably in the community sector.
  • Good understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the ECEI Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
  • Able to multi task with the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent data management skills
  • High level written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong administrative skills, support with the preparation of ad hoc reports, CRM management, Excel spreadsheets and other MS Office tools as required

Applicants must hold a valid Working with Children clearance and successfully undertake pre-employment police check. You will also be required to hold a current Drivers Licence and have access to a registered vehicle.
