The Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Central Sydney Team, providing flexible and mobile support to children and young people aged 0 to 24 years. This is a permanent full-time position with a focus on supporting clients in the surrounding suburbs of Bankstown through to the Shire. Using a collaborative team approach, the role will primarily see you managing a varied caseload providing intervention, support and strategies for children and young people with disability or developmental delay, and their families.

Key elements of this role include using person and family-centred approaches to undertake assessment and planning activities as well as providing therapeutic interventions and capacity building strategies tailored to the individual, their family/carers and environments. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will also share your expertise to collaborate with other allied health professionals.

Skills and Experience

  • A degree qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Current professional registration (AHPRA)
  • 2-3 years’ Physiotherapy experience, preferably with children and young people with disability or development delay.
  • A commitment to working flexibly in response to families' individualised needs and priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience working in inclusive environments.
  • The ability to work sensitively with families from diverse cultural backgrounds and complex needs.

To be considered for this role you must have a current Working with Children Check and hold a current Drivers Licence and access to a registered vehicle to perform the role.
