We support children, young people and families, people with disability, older people and people with mental illness. We work with people who are homeless and refugees and asylum seekers.

About Youth Workers

Working with children in foster care or accessing our youth services. Providing emotional and social support to clients and helping them reach their goals. Experience working with children in Out of Home Care or working in Youth Outreach programs beneficial.

Skills and Experience

  • Resilience, good professional boundaries, strong commitment to improving the quality of life for our clients
  • High level communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to complete electronic progress notes and electronic timesheets
  • Current unrestricted driver licence and access to reliable vehicle - mandatory
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003) – mandatory
  • Aligned with our values – Relationships, Imaginative, Respectful, Responsive, Courageous

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, Department of Communities Check and Working with Children Check (where applicable)
