About the role

Demonstrate organisational and leadership skills in the coordination of services to assist people with a disability. The position is focused upon ensuring that the individual needs of clients are met, whilst maintaining an efficient and safe working environment for staff.

This position be reporting to the Lifestyle Supports Manager assisting with Lifestyle programs and centre-based programs. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination and management of the daily operations of the disability programs
  • Monitor the coordination and development of clients’ Individual Plan
  • Ensure the team complies with Disability Services Act Standards and other relevant legislation
  • Coordinate and/or oversee rostering and timesheet requirements according to individual support needs
  • Provide supervision and support to direct reports 

Skills & Experience

  • Diploma in relevant Social & Community Services qualification
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a leadership/management role in a human services organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of services to people with a disability
  • Established problem solving and conflict management skills
  • Strong coordination, leadership and peer support skills

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
