About the Role

As a Support Worker (Home Care), you will be actively supporting clients to remain living independently at home through the provision of social support, personal care and domestic assistance.

Due to expanding our aged care program in Sydney, we have multiple casual roles available based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, including travel to surrounding suburbs.

Individual shifts range between 1 to 3 hours, ideal for candidates seeking additional casual work, work during school hours or students who are available between Monday and Friday from 7am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Social support and transportation including transport to medical appointments, grocery shopping and social activities
  • Personal care including showering, grooming and dressing assistance
  • Housekeeping and domestic assistance including cooking, household cleaning and laundry assistance.
  • Administer basic first aid and manual handling as required

Skills & Experience  

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Home and Community Care or Aged Care
  • A current unrestricted Australian drivers licence
  • Reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • Good communication skills and a passion for supporting and promoting the individual needs of our clients.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
