About the role

An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Disability and Aged Care programs. In this role you will provide support to the South east QLD region.

This is a wonderful opening for a dynamic and creative Clinician with a passion for improving the lives of people. You will be supported by our multi-disciplinary Clinical Services team and will have excellent professional development opportunities.      

Key Responsibilities  

  • Provide clinical knowledge and expertise to Life Without Barriers programs
  • Provide assessments of clients cognitive and learning abilities, health status and behavioural profile, safety and equipment needs
  • Develop and monitor intervention plans and strategies
  • Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals   

Skills & Experience  

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing and planning interventions for clients who are aged or with a disability
  • Sound knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing person centred interventions
  • Experience working in a culturally sensitive manner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
  • Understanding of a commitment to the principles of EEO, Safety, Cultural Diversity and Ethical Practice
  • Current Driver License  


  • Knowledge of service providers in the local community
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar industry
  • Knowledge base of sensory modulation    

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
