Laurel House is currently seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified person to join our team as the State Executive Officer.

The State Executive Officer will be responsible for providing overarching leadership and management of the Laurel House service across the North & North West of Tasmania. Reporting to the Board of Governance, they will deliver the strategic and operational objectives, build and sustain key stakeholder partnerships, and represent and promote Laurel House across a variety of networks.

Ideally the successful applicant will have extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role requiring responsibility for leading and managing a community services organisation or a NGO and a proven track record for effective service management and results-driven leadership.

Post graduate qualifications in a management or a business-related area is essential.

Qualifications in a social services related field (including psychology, social work or behavioral sciences) is desirable.
