Inspired Adventures is a professional fundraising agency, working with Australian and international charities to create and manage fundraising events around the world.

We are seeking a passionate Campaign Manager with at least 2 years of account management or campaigns/marketing experience. We are a hard-working team who share the love of adventure, outdoors and doing good! Campaign Managers look after a portfolio of charity clients and their campaign/s. You will build strong working relationships with our charity partners and work towards developing long-term programs for successful fundraising outcomes.

You will report to the Head of Client Services.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Report to and liaise with clients on the concept development, marketing strategy and progress of their campaign, regularly reviewing and implementing changes where necessary.
  2. Ensure that all campaign milestones are met on time.
  3. Develop marketing plans, provide advice on marketing strategy and assist clients in the recruitment of their fundraising events.
  4. Work with the creative team to conceptualise and produce marketing materials to a high standard and in-line with the charity branding, and any other collateral as required.
  5. Work with Inspired Travel to ensure the smooth delivery of all travel aspects of the campaign.
  6. Identify and drive new business opportunities with existing and potential clients aligning with set goals and budgets.
  7. Ensure that all client-related legal and other critical documentation is completed and filed on time and accurately as required by the campaign.
  8. Provide professional advice and support to clients to maximise benefits for all parties.
  9. Maintain accurate database records of client interaction and other tasks and relationships relating to campaign management.
  10. Oversee the Fundraising Coordinator working on the campaigns including training, developing or coaching staff members as required.
  11. Ensure stakeholders including Inspired Travel and suppliers are briefed and remain up-to-date with campaign developments.

Key Selection Criteria:

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • 2 years experience in account management, digital marketing, fundraising, event management or similar
  • Marketing, Sales and Account Management experience will be looked upon favourably
  • Good analytical, planning and organisational skills including project management with high attention to detail
  • Capable of working effectively in a rapidly changing environment with multiple clients, shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Leadership competencies, an ability to move people forward and to develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, colleagues and executive team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding relationship management skills including the ability to build effective partnerships and working relationships, as well as negotiating new business
  • Experience in budget management and implementation and ability to work within KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive interpersonal attitude at all times
  • Ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and make decisions independently when required
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience with Salesforce database would be great but not vital
  • Empathy with the mission and goals of the not-for-profit sector, its objectives, opportunities and limitations
  • Alignment with the values and mission of Inspired Adventures and a commitment to its growth
  • Bachelors (or higher) degree in marketing, communications, business or similar preferred

Additional Factors:

This position requires a 35 hour working week over 5 days a week. Hours can be flexible (between 8am-6pm). As part of, or in addition to the main duties and responsibilities, the Campaign Manager will be involved in attending functions associated with their campaigns and various promotions, which may require interstate travel and which may include evenings and weekends. Campaign Managers may be offered the opportunity to team lead adventures, which may require additional training and out-of-office hours.
