InLife is a new disability support provider established three years ago, and our great rates of pay, positive and inclusive culture and innovative technology set us apart from the rest.

To meet the demand for our service across metropolitan Melbourne, we're looking to hire two client area coordinators.

In this role you'll make a real difference in the lives of people with disability, supporting them to have the greatest sense of choice, control and confidence under the NDIS.

Our office is in the city, but we work flexibly and locally with our clients. Ideally, home would be in the Brunswick or Prahran region, but we'll consider all comers!

Your duties will include, though are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining positive, respectful and supportive relationships with clients and significant others in their lives
  • Fostering and promoting positive outcomes for clients at all times
  • Collaborating with other InLife managers to maintain client rosters, and source and induct appropriate staff
  • Providing ongoing support, mentoring and client-specific training to staff
  • Maintaining client records and monitoring funded support budgets as required
  • Participating in the ongoing improvement of InLife policies and procedures
  • Participating in an on-call after hours coordinator roster

This is an opportunity to work with an innovative and exciting disability support organisation.

If you're passionate about improving the lives of people with disability, open to new and innovative ways of thinking and want to be a part of exciting change, then this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Tertiary (Diploma or higher) qualification in Community/Human Services or related discipline
  • A minimum of two years experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in working directly with people with disability
  • Proficiency in using technology broadly and a capacity to learn new technology and programs as required
  • Highly developed communication and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated alignment to our values (see www.inlife.org.au)
  • Rostering skills highly desirable, and willingness to undertake occasional direct client shifts

Benefits

  • Generous salary and benefits, with salary packaging available
  • Highly flexible working model
