About The Role

Accredited Exercise Physiologists make a significant contribution to IPC Health’s chronic illness and disability care in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. This new and exciting role will be supported by a grade 2 Exercise Physiologist and is part of the larger Allied Health Service. The IPC Health Exercise Physiologist will provide assessment, treatment and ongoing management of Chronic conditions, cardiac rehabilitation and other programs in line with the Commonwealth Home Support Program funding. This role would ideally suit someone who has experience working with the adult population in a multidisciplinary team. Whilst the role requires a high level of autonomy, you will be supported by a senior clinician.

This role will predominantly be treating within our Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). The incumbent will at times be challenged, but also rewarded, and will have opportunity to grow as an Allied Health professional.
This role would ideally suit someone who has experience working with the adult population in a multidisciplinary team. Whilst the role requires a high level of autonomy, you will be supported by a senior clinician.

This role is classified as an Exercise Physiologist under the Victorian Stand Alone Community Health Centres, Health Professionals Multi-Employer Agreement 2012-2016. The position is based within the Western Suburbs of Melbourne including our Altona Meadows and St Albans locations, however flexibility with location will be considered for the right candidate.
